One of the biggest misconceptions I see in the health and fitness industry these days is the advice that reducing your dietary fat intake will lead to better health, reduced risk of disease, and weight loss. Now don’t get me wrong here…I’m certainly not an Atkins or low carb advocate, but the fact is that ample quantities of dietary fats are essential for weight loss and a healthy, disease free body. But beware, you must choose wisely, and some of the healthy choices will definitely surprise you.
