Minerals are inorganic substances that the body needs in
very small quantities. There are twenty two metallic elements in the
body which make up about 4 percent of total body weight.
Fluorine in the synthetic form sodium fluoride and natural form calcium fluoride decrease chances of dental caries or tooth decay. Fluorine also aids in strengthening bones. Best food sources include fluoridated drinking water, seafood and teal leaves. Toxicity and over dose symptoms include nausea, abdominal pain, vomiting, and diarrhea, excessive salivation, tearing, sweating and generalized weakness.
